Manager, Configuration

This position is responsible for managing a team of configuration specialists with a broad set of skills.  Successful Implementation of our products is the foundation to creating a lasting relationship with our clients. Managing how we implement, cross training, process improvement and documentation are key elements for this role. This position also requires the ability to understand software, business processes and to quickly absorb the business details which will lead to better internal operations.


  • Provide vision, leadership, training and coaching to all team members
  • Lead a team of product Configuration Specialists to facilitate a high standard of builds
  • Maintain and internally communicate status and key performance indicators of Clubessential’s implementation pipeline
  • Enhance department and organization standards through improvements of processes and tools to ensure consistent builds
  • Evaluate workflow and associate capacity to maximize resources and to provide highest level of client builds
  • Ensure team is cross-trained and eliminate single points of failure
  • Work closely with Project Managers to effectively work across multiple projects and delivering to deadlines
  • Coordinate work flow to include builds and escalated support issues in a timely fashion
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction with net promoter as a key indicator
  • Assist Product Managers and Internal Customers to develop ideas, concepts and solutions that help the product meet their objectives
  • Assist team in updating all implementation deliverables as required with new functionality rollouts. Create new deliverables/best practices for implementation services to enhance implementation engagements.

  • Four year college degree
  • Passion for people leadership and development
  • Highly effective communication, time management and resource management skills
  • 3+ years of experience with project plan development and management experience
  • 2+ years of experience working in SaaS software technology
  • Technical background that will facilitate an understanding of technical capabilities
  • Actively works towards process improvements and process methodologies
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Independent thinker & self-starter
  • Ability to deep-dive software applications and become technically proficient
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to set expectations and communicate goals and objectives to teammates
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to develop processes and methodologies
  • Detail and action-oriented with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts,
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, growth environment
  • Broad knowledge of how API / web hooks operate
  • General knowledge of web based Content Management Systems
  • Familiarity with CRMs
  • Familiarity of web based interface / configuration platforms
  • Ability to learn SQL, CSS, HTML

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Experience in the club or hospitality industries
